About Me

My name is London Thompson, and I’m a storyteller at heart with a strong foundation in media, creativity, and business strategy.

From photographing villagers in the mountains of Costa Rica to writing about banding Brown Pelicans along the coast of North Carolina, my work lives at the intersection of exploration and storytelling. I’m passionate about capturing real moments, meaningful experiences, and the human side of every story — whether through writing, visuals, or digital media.

Raised in Laurel, Maryland, I developed an early appreciation for storytelling as a way to understand people and the world around me, a curiosity that naturally evolved into a career in communication and media. I earned a B.S. in Journalism with a concentration in Multimedia Journalism, graduating Cum Laude from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where I built a strong foundation in writing, visual storytelling, and digital media. I later expanded that creative focus through an M.A. in Interactive Media from Elon University, before strengthening my strategic and business perspective by earning an MBA in Business Marketing from University of North Carolina Greensboro. Together, these experiences allow me to approach storytelling with both creative depth and strategic intention.

With a background that blends creative storytelling and business insight, I approach every project with both imagination and strategy — understanding not just how to tell a story, but how to make it resonate, connect, and create impact.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy painting, thrift shopping, and spending time with my family. Whether close to home or across the world, I’m always seeking new perspectives and fresh ways to tell timeless stories.
